Thank you Hans Klein.

I'd like to encourage each and every one of us TODAY to send a succinct message
immediately to the ALSC Call for Comments at melbourne@atlargestudy.org and send
a copy to civsoc@cpsr.org to have them posted online at the site given by Hans
Klein.  Make it plain that the ALSC draft is self serving, short sighted, in bad
faith, and totally unacceptable.  Make it also plain that the NAIS study has
great merit.

One of our failings on this list is that we talk, but we don't actually DO
anything.  Here is an opportunity where we, as individuals, might actually have
some effect.  This can be, in effect, a vote on the draft.   Cecily Wood
