That is the threat here that the ICANN board is ignoring: at some point the
Internet community will decide that, based on it's lack of legitimacy in the
Internet community, it will cease to be acknowledged as an authority.  At
best, the result would be a Internet managing body even more
industry-centric than ICANN.  At worst, total anarchy!
