9 is what was originally planned.  Let us achieve that much now.  And I don't
think At-Large members should have to be domain name holders.  This brings the
board into compliance with the legal and ethical requirements made at its
founding.

I do think ICANN would benefit from having ALL the board elected by at-large
members who are not necessarily domain name holders, but that fight can be
fought another day.

I am a long-time ACM member and have worked in computing in business and
education.  I currently am administrative tech planning and support for a school
district with 68 schools.
