Jeff, can you please provide some evidence that those members actually
exist?

which claims the whole thing is bogus.

You post from Netcom, and a quick search does not turn up a website
for the group. I find it a trifle hard to believe a net-oriented 
group that large would not run a website. 

How does it recruit members? Where can people sign up? Is there a
public record of the Group's position or discussions?

Jeff himself does seem to exist. After reading some rather nasty
claims about him here, I checked by calling both numbers above.

The first one is a hotel and when I called, the message for
room 1894 was "Hi. This is Greg. Leave a message". I hung up.

The second one got Jeff and we had quite a good conversation.
